The city’s Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with the Postal Service for more than 70 years for an internationally renowned Valentine Remailing Program. The program has grown and earned Loveland a worldwide showing, with more than 100,000 cards from all 50 states and 110 countries each year. She stamped 10 cards before the rest of the team, and some longtime volunteers, started in on the thousands of cards that were delivered to the Chamber of Commerce by Loveland postal workers. With only 10 stampers allowed in the room at any time, the volunteers will work in shifts, and with many of the traditional volunteers who show up every year in the at-risk category because of their senior ages, businesses are sponsoring shifts for their employees.
